    The Hard-Ons are Pop in that they have a keen ear for melody. However, the melodies are sparse enough to remain Punk, the same way All/The Descendents do it. Except they don't sound like All or The Descendents. `Too Far Gone' has a nasty little violent streak, hidden just below the surface, like broken bottles on the beach, just waiting to cut /5(3).
